Terminal Island!!!4-3-2006
Now that there is a piece of property that has been vacated, there are rumors going around of the return of the Brotherhood Raceway in the Terminal Island area at the Los Angeles harbor. While "Big Willie" Robinson of the Brotherhood of Street Racers has made a couple of presentations before the L.A. Harbor Commission, there is no go ahead from the government according to a press spokesman for the Mayor's office.
Auto Club Dragway @ Fontana!4-3-2006
Under Cover Brother has been hearing rumors about the re-building of Auto Club Dragway in Fontana, CA. Michael Yurick, Senior Director of Operations at California Speedway, was quick to point out that they will begin grinding the surface for the new Dragway later this week, weather permitting. As of today the scheduled NHRA Pacific SPORTS Nationals and Divisional event dates have not been moved. The Speedway has had some obstacles to overcome on the County level, but the planning and permits are moving along in the governmental approval process.
Nicole Lyons To Compete In Top Sportsman!3-1-2006
The word is that Nicole Lyons will be at the IHRA Spring Nationals April 21-23 at Rockingham Dragway-Rockingham, NC she will fly in from California to drive a 6 second Chevy Cavalier in Top Sportsman.
